Concrete Finisher / Laborer Job description
Job overview
We are hiring experienced and motivated Concrete Construction Workers to join our team. This hands-on role involves forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for residential and small commercial projects located throughout the Central Valley. Candidates must be prepared for daily travel to multiple job sites and flexible with changing project locations and schedules.
Essiential duties and responsibilities
- Set Grades, Dig Footings, Form Site Work and Flatwork.
- Set up and align concrete forms using stakes, nails, and form ties.
- Pour and spread concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
- Use screeds, trowels, floats, and other tools to level and finish surfaces.
- Apply curing compounds and monitor the curing process to ensure proper strength and durability.
- Cut and place rebar or wire mesh for reinforcement.
- Operate concrete saws and other finishing equipment as needed.
- Stamp and Color Concrete.
- Operate Equipment such as Skid Steers and Mini Excavator
- Other Duties as Needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools to smooth and finish surfaces.
- Ability to build and dismantle forms for slabs, walls, and other structures.
- Skilled in measuring, marking, and aligning forms and reinforcements.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability To Work in Prolonged Periods of Outdoor Work, Under Extreme Weather
- Ability To Function Well in a High-Paced and at Times Stressful Environment
